Back from Alaska...

with a new pair of shoes, of course! I bought these Moccasins at the Saxon Village in Ketchikan, Alaska:

Aren't they fantastic? They are handbeaded on moosehide. One of the Native Saxon Women told me she's had hers for 22 years! I figured they would be great slippers and a lasting souvenir from my Alaskan Adventure.

So glad to be back. Keep an eye out for regular postings!

I love gorgeous and fun flats. Whenever I'm feeling "blahh" in a pair of jeans and a tee, I just grab a pair of pretty flats and they make me feel so much better. Here are some of the flats I'm loving right now:

Look at that color- Yum! Red is a big color for fall both in clothes and shoes. Get 'em before they sell out!

A new appreciation for Uggs

Whether you love them or hate them, I think we can all agree that they are comfy and warm! I’ve grown a new appreciation for Uggs since being in Alaska. 42 degree weather isn't really conducive to wearing cute and stylish shoes. Trust me- I tried and my toes froze! That being said, right now is a great time to get a pair of Uggs for the fall/winter, especially if you hit up the Ugg outlets- they have great sales during the summer. You can also find them online:
