I think I'm keeping it pretty low key for New Years but that doesn't mean a girl can't pretend to need NYE shoes, right?

Brand Spotlight: I Heart L.A.M.B.

I'm always very skeptical about celebrities turned designers, but I must say that Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. shoes have blown me away season after season! L.A.M.B. which stands for Love, Angel, Music, Baby was launched by Gwen Stefani in 2003 and includes apparel, shoes, watches, bags, and fragrance.

The reason I heart  L.A.M.B shoes is because they are the perfect mix of edginess and glamour. Every shoe has incredible detail that just makes it POP! I put together a little spread of one of her recent lines- The Z's:

Fantastic Flats!

If you don't subscribe to Daily Candy, I would definitely suggest signing up! They send great e-mails about local food & drinks hot spots, interesting fashion and beauty brands, cultural events in your area, and lots of great deals! Yes, you read that right! According to a new study, "women are more likely to remember the first pair of shoes they bought than who they shared their first kiss with."

* The average woman has 19 pairs of shoes. {Someone needs to do another study because I do NOT believe this!}

* One in six women has more than 30 pairs of shoes in their closets, while a third have trouble finding the room to store them all. {Build your own shoe closet from IKEA!}

* While the majority of women say their shoe buying habits have not created money problems, one in seven have hidden a new pair of shoes from their partner. {This is my favorite one!}

My favorite Holiday Shoes...

Last weekend was a Holiday Party Extravaganza! Of course I changed up my shoes for every party, but these are my absolute favorite go-to Holiday shoes:

I bought these from Bergdorf Goodman a couple of years ago. Bergdorfs was having an amazing sale on shoes and the second I saw these I knew it was meant to be! The bow detail is perfect + I am a HUGE fan of d'Orsay style pumps.

I'm not the biggest sneaker fan (except for men's) but as I was perusing the internet yesterday, I found Keds Collective. Keds Collective allows YOU to design your own Keds sneakers, buy them, and then sell your creation on Zazzle. It's a pretty awesome concept, sort of like Nike ID, but with the opportunity to sell your own design!

As of now they are only available for Women ($60) and Children ($50) but Men's shoes will be available soon. I'm guestimating the men's will be around $70.

My new boots...

Although I should be saving, there is just something about the outlets that always gets me. I found these great brown boots at the Nine West outlet and couldn't resist:

Today was the perfect day to wear them because it was freezing in Los Angeles!

 The v-cut in the back is a lot more flattering than your basic riding boot.

I've been searching for a pair of brown riding boots FOREVER! Because I'm petite, it's hard to find tall boots that don't overpower my legs or have too much empty space around the calf area. I put these on and they fit perfectly so naturally I had to buy them!

I went to a Holiday Party on Sunday evening and spotted these amazing booties on one of the hosts:

Unfortunately she bought these a couple years ago in Argentina.  I found a similar bootie on shopstyle, but for some reason I'm just not satisfied. Take a look:
