If you follow me on twitter you know that I finally bought the L.A.M.B. 'Zea' I had been lusting over. Rue La La had a L.A.M.B. sale last week and I managed to snag a black pair in size 6- YAY! Here are a few styling ideas for these lovely shoes:

 Florals are going to be huge for spring!  I love mixing "girly" pieces with edgy shoes because they just compliment each other so well. Can you believe that bag is Steve Madden? Love it! (Click on the images for product details)

Black jeans and leggings have really been my go-to bottoms for the past couple of months and I think the 'Zea' works perfectly with them! Can't wait to add a casual sweater and chunky romantic jewelry to finish off the look. (Click on the images for product details)

For the Guys: Fall 2010 Shoe Preview

It may seem too early to think about, but in the Fashion world designers are always seasons ahead: GQ reports boot trends for Fall 2010. We saw a little taste of the "combat boot" during Fall/Winter 2009 but come Fall 2010 rugged boots will be everywhere.

I really took a liking to rugged lace up boots when I saw the Harrys of London 'Combat Boots' on Gilt Man earlier this month. Not only do they keep your feet warm, but they give you plenty of versatility in the styling department (i.e GQ Boot Pics). There are a lot of fantastic boots on sale right now for those of you trend setters who want to be on point for fall:

These are my absolute favorite because they are simple and classic. The brown leather and black laces make them wearable with any outfit.

Not really sure how you feel about boots yet? These John Varvatos boots bridge the gap between sneakers and boots. Baby steps!   

Common Projects 'Trag Boot' Low Profile Dirty on sale for $472 from $331 @ Forward

Common Projects can't really do wrong in the shoe department. The color is unique and I am really fascinated by the zipper and button detail. LOVE THEM!

Rankin Boot 8eye Leather and Canvas Boot on sale for $129 from $180 @ DSW

These Rankin Boots are pleasing to the eye and the wallet. They look very durable too!

Bright Colors for Spring

I was browsing Style.com and came across this article confirming my theory that bright colored shoes are going to be perfect for spring! I don't know about you, but I have fallen into the grey, brown, & black shoe hole and I'm definitely ready for a change. Here are some of my current favs:

Spring Hues

I was looking through My Stylebook on Shopstyle and noticed a little trend:

 Obviously I love girly flats and pumps but I am seriously hearting pink and green spring hues. Definitely itching for a pair of flowery bright flats but there are just too many to choose from. Decisions... Decision!

Also, Mary-Kate and Ashley are definitely making their mark on shoe fashion with the new  Elizabeth and James' resort collection- the exterior platform on the 'Mason' is fantastic!

TRANSIT: LA SHOE SHOW RECAP

 Transit [The Lost Angeles Shoe Show] 

I grabbed one of my best friends and we headed over to the LA Shoe Show on Saturday. It was quite a sight to see all of the shoes lined up (almost like the Shoe Floor @ Saks in NY)!

After speaking with the Sales Rep. I found out that their 'Newspaper Recycled ' series is starting to become a huge hit! Here is one of the first 'Newspaper Recycled' Shoes:

Each 'Newspaper Recycled' Shoe is made with real newspaper and coated in plastic for durability. I saw some great 'Newspaper Recycled' sandals that will be coming out soon. I'll make sure to keep you updated.

MATIKO: Matiko has been in the back of my mind a lot recently. Hautelook is currently having a sale on Matiko and I was really impressed with the shoes I saw at Transit.

I'm still waiting on images from the brand but there were a lot of sexy leather gladiator sandals with metallic detailing that will be available in the coming months. Check back soon for pics!

L.A.M.B: My affinity for L.A.M.B is no secret so of course I was super excited to check out what's in store for Spring and Summer. Here are some pics:

Spring "Florale"

One of my friends wore these Steve Madden flats the other day and I just couldn't stop looking at them:

The magenta color is striking and I promise the blush is a lot prettier in person. The picture does not do the color justice!  D'orsay cut shoes are always so flattering on the foot and the floral embellishment is perfect for spring!

I stopped by Steve Madden this weekend and tried them on. They run a little bigger than normal so if you are in between sizes I would definitely suggest taking the smaller route.
