Europe Shoe Pics- Part 2

While on vaca I picked up a few Italian Magazines, Lookbooks and Shopping Guides. My parents thought I was crazy for lugging them around the whole time, but I knew I HAD to bring them home. Something about the word Italy/Italia on the cover just makes them seem SO much fancier than your normal magazine.

Elle Italy, Vogue Italia, Miu Miu Fall/Winter Lookbook, Roma Shopping Guide, Vogue Shopping, and Elle Italy Weddings

Most were written in Italian, but just the pictures were worth the purchase! Here are lots of images from inside the mags that I wanted to share:

Love this ad!

Vogue Winter Shopping Guide has so many great shoe spreads on winter trends. The cartoon sketches are fabulous too.

Shoe Trends:
Frills & Pleats, Army Appeal, and Hot Spots are DEFINITELY my favorite Fall/Winter trends! How fun are the spreads?

Miu Miu Fall/Winter Lookbook:

Sorry about my awful flash :(

The Elle Accessories- Italy is HUGE. Pages and pages of loveliness:

I would DIE for these Cesare Paciotti booties. They leave me speechless!

Camel Shoes - just a minor twist on our spring/summer nudes that we loved so much!

Needless to say, I had some great shoes to look at on my 13 hour flight home. THANK GOODNESS. Hope you enjoy!

Europe Shoe Pics - Part 1

As promised, the first half of my shoe pics from Europe:

My hotel in Rome was located in the most amazing spot! We were right by the Spanish Steps and all of the fabulous luxury stores. The view out of my hotel window was this:

A little close-up:

The pictures don't even do the shoes justice. They looked so fabulous and magical - it was so nice to wake up to!

More beautiful Miu Miu Mary Janes:

If these don't make you want gorgeous patent heels, I don't know what will!

I also spotted an amazing shoe store down the road called Adriana Roma.

They had a fabulous selection of designer shoes especially Casadei + they were having an incredible 75% off sale. I was so excited to shop, you have no idea.

BUT we were only in Rome for 1.5 days and day 1 was dedicated to sight seeing only. When I went back to Adriana Roma the next morning the store wasn't open yet and I had to leave. So so sad I didn't get to check it out! Probably better for my bank account though.

Check out the Casadei Leopard Platforms:

I bought a few Italian Magazines (Vogue, Elle, etc.) and have lots of clippings to share... Make sure to check back for part 2 tomorrow

Something Pretty... Oh So Pretty...

Lately I've been infatuated with beautiful fashion sketches! My mom used to design undergarments in the 80s/early 90s and I remember being totally in enthralled with her sketches as a kid. These make me a little nostalgic and they are just oh so pretty:

Alexa Chung- Harper's Bazaar by Danny Roberts

From the Character Sketchbook by Danny Roberts

Loving these from talented Artist, Katie Rodgers, over at PAPERFASHION:

You can purchase PAPERFASHION Sketches here.

Everyone LOVES Dolce Vita 'Ivory'

Remember at the end of July when I posted about the awesome Dolce Vita Deal? Of course I tweeted & facebooked about it and I was so excited to see that Pursuit followers actually bought the 'Ivory' too! Always glad to help out fellow shoe lovers. Here are a few pics of me in the 'Ivory' and of some twitter friends too:

Dolce Vita 'Ivory'- still one sale at Endless and Dolce Vita for $80ish

The color combo is my favorite! They are not only perfect for summer but definitely a great fall transition shoe:

Hat- Forever 21
Toothpick Twill Pants - J. Crew

I am IN LOVE with these twill pants. The olive color isn't available online but you can find them in select stores. Get used to these because I'm confident they will be in a lot of outfit posts this fall. Pretty much obsessed with olive colored apparel right now and fall's military trend. It is very transitional!

Not the best pics of me... Let me tell you- this jet-lag/jumping back into work full force business is exhausting! Yes, I know I'm being a big baby!

~Shoe Tweet Love~

Daily Runway is one of my daily (no pun intended) blog reads- LOVE THEM!

Thanks to Ana for twipic'ing too:

Anyone else buy a pair? Are you enjoying them as much as we are?

Back from Vaca!

Can't event began to describe what a fabulous time I had. Europe is BEAUTIFUL! Somehow managed to visit 7 countries in 14 days and definitely saw more archelogical ruins than you can imagine. Of course I took a billion pictures, but since I can't post them all I picked out a few of my favs. Not all are shoe related (Europe Shoe Post to come) but they are just too pretty not to share:

The view of "Little Venice" in Mykonos, Greece

One of the 20 decorated Donkey Statues celebrating the Santorini Donkey Republic 2010

Colosseum in Rome, Italy
Doesn't this picture look like a postcard?

View from outside our hotel in Rome. AMAZING. More Europe shoe pics to come this week!

View from the mountains in Nice, France

Leaning Tower of Pisa

"Love Locks" in Florence
Lovers put their initials on them and lock them to the chain then throw the key in the river to signify their unbreakable love. According to our tour guide, the police cut off all locks on a weekly basis and every week the chain is full again. Crazy!

Beach view from a cliff in Sorrento, Italy

Caprese Salad with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes from a farm in Sorrento, Italy. The best caprese I've EVER had in my life. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Top of the Byzantine Fortification in Corfu, Greece

Oxymoron! This sign made me giggle.

 Parthenon in Athens, Greece
It was probably between 90-100 degrees almost everyday of our vaca + 50-60% humidity. Needless to say there was a lot of sweating, but I did get a pretty good tan!

Here are a few other lovely pictures:

Thank you everyone for wishing me a great vacation. It was awesome! Back to the real world and regular Pursuit posts.  YAY!
