Treat Yourself: Post Christmas Gifts

It's time to treat yourself to the gifts you didn't get with the gift cards and cash you did! Here's what's on my list:

My go-to nude lip color.

Arm candy at it's finest.

Would love to stack the "a" and "heart" rings!

Kate Spade case is almost a year old and has a crack. Plus, do I really need a reason to buy leopard anything?

Sparkling in 2012 and beyond!

Christmas Weekend Pics

 I hope your Holiday weekend was fabulous and relaxing. Between time with family, yummy food and generous gifts, I woke up this morning one happy camper.

Here are a few shots from my weekend:

Casual Christmas Day Outfit

Wrapping- raffia adds just the right touch

While at home, I spotted this fun pic of the fam from my Uncle's Wedding last year.

The best part about Christmas is hanging out with my siblings, especially my little sister. She just embodies the true spirit of Christmas!

 I gave her her first pair skinny jeans and she couldn't wait to wear them. She paired them with fab red glitter flats. My brother loved his red Puma tennis shoes I gave him too!

  Mr. Pursuit

Totally insane Christmas gift from my shoe fairy godmother! I literally cried.

Happy short work week!

Friday Eye Candy

Christmas is finally here and I cannot wait to relax and celebrate with my family. Last night I received an early Christmas present that I just have to share:

{Mini Louboutin Ornament}

Aren't they fab?  Kurt S. Adler has tons of awesome shoe ornaments for all the shoe lovers in your life.

Merry Christmas! I hope you have the most amazing weekend.

{DIY} Photo Booth & Festive Balloon Garland

If your hosting during the holidays or NYE, here are a few fun ideas to liven up the party:
{Photo Booth Backdrop & Setup}

For our Holiday Party we wanted a photobooth because they are really fun and engaging - guests love 'em! Since we don't have that much space in our apartment we created the "booth" in front of my bedroom by covering the door with wrapping paper and used my Macbook's Photo Booth to shoot.

To Buy:
  • Wrapping paper or fabric
  • Bow or statement piece for backdrop
  • Props: fun headbands, construction paper & sticks, garland, etc. (2012 glasses and party blowers would be great for a NYE bash)
We set-up the computer on a bookshelf and set the Photo Booth App to take 4 images. Guests just have to press the "camera" button and the computer takes 4 pics in a row. It's hysterical and so easy!

--------------------------------------------------------------------

{Balloon Garland}

Balloon garlands may be the easiest decorations ever but they have such "umph". I did a simple garland for Mr. Pursuit's dinner party and decided to spice it up for our recent party.

 To Buy:
  • Colored balloons (the grocery store balloon/flower dept. is a good spot)
  • String or thread
  • Tinsel garland (little lights could be a good substitute)
The best part about the balloon garland is that it doesn't require helium. Just blow up the balloons, tie on the string, tape and add tinsel.

Happy Decorating!

Shop My Look: Kardashian Kollection

 It's no secret that I'm a big Kardashian fan so when searsStyle invited me to shop the Kardashian Kollection, I was a little giddy inside.

Recently I've been craving a simple and chic Tibi inspired dress but with a fun bodycon-esque twist, a la Hervé Léger. Enter...the KK molded shoulder mesh front dress. The fit is on point and it reveals just the right amount:

Sometimes it feels so good to create an outfit with fab steals {nothing is more than $60}! The dress is "pebble grey" but has a lavender undertone that goes perfectly with the purple beads on the embellished geo clutch. Mildly obsessed with the clutch btw!

*I received samples from the searsStyle Kardashian Kollection to review as part of the Glam Trendsetter Program. The opinions expressed herein are those of the author and are not indicative of the opinions or positions of Sears.

What She Wore: Shoe Edition

Late last week the Kardashian ladies made an appearance for the opening of Kardashian Khaos in the Mirage Hotel, Las Vegas.

Kim kept it simple in fab Giuseppe Zanotti Wedges which were featured on Pursuit's Friday Eye Candy in May.

Speaking of the Kardashians, here is a sneak peek at tomorrow's outfit post:

Weekend Pics

 T-6 days until Christmas... yes!
Vegas was a blast and I snagged an early Christmas gift for my feetsies:
Friday night shoe pic- leopard love from Colin Stuart

Night 2 Statement Shoes - Colin Stuart & Sole Society

{Pursuit Tip: Colin Stuart is Victoria's Secret's shoe line that is on trend and moderately priced. It's one of my go-to lines for "going out" shoes that won't break the bank or break your heart when someone spills a vodka tonic all over them!}

Christian Louboutin window display at the Palazzo

Sparkling eye candy

Colorful Spikes

 Vegas is one of my favorite places to splurge on shoes. The boutiques always seem to have fab sales + it's Vegas Baby!! Brought these Christian Louboutin Maggie's home with me and cannot wait to wear them.

Gorgeous sky on our way back to LA

Hope your weekend was fantastic!

For the Guys: Gift Guide

It's been awhile since I did something for the fellas, so what better way to bring back "for the guys" than with a Holiday Gift Guide!? Mr. Pursuit gave his full approval over all of the below:

Every guy needs fashionable tennis shoes plus the herringbone and leather heel combo is awesome!

Pamper him with a shave or twelve!

Flasks just got fancy - we aren't in college anymore boys.

You know he won't buy it for himself, but let's face it, even guys need a good skincare regimen.

Isn't it gorgeous? Any guy would love this!

This is a classic fragrance that's perfect for the guy who doesn't have a fav cologne or has never worn cologne before. It smells dreamy {ladies, you will love}!

You thought he left his Timberlands back in the 90s but, oh no, these boots are uber-chic. They offer such a great "dressy" option- fancier than sneakers but less flashy than regular dress shoes.

 It's all about a tie clip that fits a "skinny" tie... make sure it's no longer than 2".

Holiday Look: Winter White

Holiday party attire can be tricky, especially if you have a million parties to attend. This year I decided to shop my closet for a party look because, after all, it's the season of giving not buying for myself {this girl is on a Christmas budget!}.

 Added my holiday shoes and a few festive accessories to complete the winter white look:
{H&M Dress, J. Crew Belt, Kate Spade Bangle, Dsquared2 Heels}

Although the exact pair of Dsquared2 heels aren't available anymore, there is a red version on Yoox.

My lovely friends really brought out their Holiday best. Between the sparkle and touches of red, we kind of look like a Christmas card. Love!

Friday Eye Candy

This week seemed a bit long but maybe it's because I'm so excited for our 4th annual Holiday Party tomorrow. It's like the first day of school!

There is something so unique and interesting about a mesh and lizard- effect leather combo:

Giuseppe Zanotti $750 @ Net-A-Porter

GZ is killing it with his ankle strap, stiletto silhouettes. These heels are absolutely perfect for resort and the nude color is guaranteed to elongate legs. Love!

Have an amazing weekend!

Look for Less: Valentino vs. J. Crew

I love me some structured bow flats. There is something so sophisticated and clean about them!

Valentino makes an amazing pair but J. Crew also has a fabulous look for less:

The bow isn't as exaggerated but J. Crew still nailed it!! Santa, add these to my Christmas List please.

Jimmy Choo ICONS Unveiling

Last night I had the pleasure of attending Jimmy Choo's Unveiling of the ICONS Collection at the newly re-opened Bel-Air Hotel. It was a fabulous event featuring gorgeous shoes:
