My Winter Wish List

This month I'll be working with Macy's on a handful of style posts from shopping current trends and creating great winter looks to wish lists and holiday gifting - woo hoo!

The first post of the series is all about my winter wish list. As I'm doing my Christmas shopping, I secretly have a list that I always keep in the back of my mind and here it is:

Shoe Lust: This season it's all about the bootie, pointy toe flat and sexy heel - at least in LA it is! The buckle detail and overall silhouette of Plenty by Tracy Reese booties are just dreamy. I'm on a quest for a bootie like these, that I can just throw on to complete any winter look. I've posted endlessly about pointy toe flats and these Truth or Dare by Madonna flats are even more fab with their gold glitter and black cap toe. Wouldn't they make great holiday flats? There are no words for L.A.M.B's  'Oxley' heels! I heart them oh so much and just imagine them as a go-to for all sexy holiday looks.

Transitional Pieces: Every season I try to invest in transitional pieces that will carry me through to the next season. That way you get more bang for your buck! One can never have too much wrist candy a la the Silicone bracelet. The BCBGMaxazria 'Astor' clutch may be bright but it really adds a pop of color to any dark winter outfit + it will be a Spring essential.

Cozy Separates: I definitely want to switch up the typical monochromatic coat with a colorblock coat like these from Nine West & BCBGeneration.  Which on do you like best? I honestly can't decide. What's winter without a new cozy cardi? I'm actually headed to New York for a quick 24 hour trip and could totally use this INC cardigan.
