Summer Swim

With summer just around the corner I've officially started stocking up on fresh new suits. Swimwear is like shoes, you can never have enough! Especially because I love to mix and match my bikini tops and bottoms.

I recently picked out this great peacock colored bikini and took it for a spin in Vegas:

 This swim season it's not only about color but details. The macrame detail on this gives it a unique feel that's a little more luxe than your basic tie-side bikini. I don't know about you but for me lining is KEY on a swimsuit. This baby had me feeling very comfortable and confident! Love that it comes in multiple colors too; I may get the yellow one to mix & match!

Weekend Pics: VEGAS

3 nights of Vegas on a holiday weekend... I'm pretty sure that sums it up! We had a blast and now we have blisters to show for it {TMI, I know}. Headed to NY tomorrow for a fun video shoot so I'm spending today unpacking & repacking!

Look for Less: Jimmy Choo vs. Steve Madden

I was browsing shoes, per the usual, and spotted a great Summer look for less. Steve Madden is known for his knock-offs but this is a pretty basic sandal and the $100 price tag is just right:

Jimmy Choo 'Linda'- $695 & Steve Madden 'Dynemite' - $79

What do you think? The heel and platform on the 'Dynemite' are a bit thicker but it still gives the same summery sandal feel!

Playing in the Park

The weather has been amazing in LA, it seems as if summer has arrived! After work yesterday I headed over to the beautiful park around the corner from my apt. to read and wind down from the work day. This is a typical summer work look:

My workplace is super casual (as you can see) however I usually like to wear a pair of heels or silky top to dress things up once in awhile. After college I worked in a super corporate office (slacks, button ups, closed toed heels) and although it was fun dressing like a "grownup" some days, I much prefer a casual work environment. I can tell these LC Lauren Conrad sandals will definitely be a warm weather go-to. The style and the color just work!

Currently Pinning

This is the first time in years that my roomie and I haven't moved. At one point we had 4 apartments in 4 years! Although I'm happy we are in our current place, I'm itching for a change and definitely a closet purge. Lately I've been pinning new home decor inspiration and organizational ideas to help the non-move situation. Plus the usual girly things like shoes and nail polish!

Last night Eddie and I went to Jimmy Choo's 24:7 Pre-Fall Launch Party. In true Jimmy Choo fashion, it was a lovely event with champagne & hors d'oeuvres. And of course, the eye candy was out of control:
