You'll remember back in July I posted about four must-have pointed toe flats for fall 
and if you haven't scooped up a pair then these budget friendly babies might be just what you're looking for:

Boot Guide: OTK & Thigh High Styles

It's boot season, although you wouldn't know it if you lived in LA because it's 90 degrees outside! I was planning a great OTK look to go along with this post but it will sadly have to wait until it cools down.

After last week's Riding Boot post I received a request on facebook (love requests btw) for a few wallet friendly OTK & thigh high boot options. Check these out (if you hover over and click the images, they do fun things):

 

Yes I know there are a few $200+ pairs but let's be honest, OTK styles require a lot of leather!

Pursuit Tips: 

1. Go tame with flat and wedge styles that will last you a few seasons and work with plethora of outfits.

2. If you go for a heeled boot, stay away from patent leather or cheap materials to avoid a "woman of the night" look. 

3.  Pair them with black leggings or dark denim to elongate legs!

Fall Style: Day to Night

The Nordstrom Rack Challenge continues with a great day to night look! The best thing about Fall is layering which makes it very easy to transition from a casual day outfit to a fun night out ensemble.

I went for a neutral palette that is anytime friendly and switched up the shoes to amp up the evening flirtiness. It's all about the shoe change!

I love using a sweater to create the illusion that you're wearing a skirt. Between the REPORT boots from last week's post  and the new M+J  booties, I think I have my Fall boots taken care of! How easy is it to get the night look? Shoe switch + a quick sock bun = perfection!

Spotted amazing Jimmy Choo sandals the second I hit the designer shoe section but opted for more Fall friendly booties! The Nordstrom Rack guy searched high and low for my size and I'm so thankful he found them. It was a true #pursuingshoes moment.
