Holiday Style: New Year's Eve

Today is the last of the Holiday Style x The Stylist LA looks so why not go out with a bang. I'm all about sexy sequins for New Year's Eve and this Parker number does not disappoint:

 {Parker Chain Sequin Dress - borrow for $60 // C. Wonder Clutch // F21 Bracelets - similar bow at Baublebar // Forget Me Knot Ring // Victoria Secret Heels -  Vince Camuto has a great metallic option}

 The back is cut very similar to the front so this is the time to bring out the double sided tape - it's obviously for a good cause! For NYE why not go all out with metallic heels, tons of arm candy and a bold clutch? I'm a little obsessed with this C. Wonder lovely!

Make sure to check out the first three looks in the Holiday Style x The Stylist LA series: Home for the Holidays, The Party Circuit and Girls' Night Out! You can borrow all four dresses for less than buying one... yes, please!!

Holiday Style: Girls' Night Out

 The Holiday Style x The Stylist LA looks continue and this might be my fave dress so far! One of the best parts about the Holidays is getting all the ladies together for some girls time. Whether it's a trip to Vegas or a night out on the town, try an unexpected color:

I opted out of a necklace because I think the neckline is just stunning by itself. Between the neckline, back detail and chiffon sleeves, ugh this dress is just gorge! My Jimmy Choos added just the right touch of sparkle. Of course, what's the Holidays without a little sparkle?! This is also another dress that retails for about $300 but can be borrowed for $60. You know my motto: with The Stylist LA, spend a fraction of the retail price for a fabulous dress then accessories with all the glam shoes and jewels from your closet!

Holiday Style: The Party Circuit

Today's Holiday Style x The Stylist LA look is all about the party circuit! 'Tis the season to shine so a sequin number must be in the Holiday mix, right?! This Parker dress offers sparkly glam with a sophisticated cut that will make a statement at any work soiree or holiday party:

With a statement dress like this it's important to go minimal with shoes and accessories. I paired it with everyone's fave Zara heel and the perfect party iPhone wristlet. This Parker dress is another one that retails for $300ish but let's be real, how many times will you actually where it? $60. Borrowed. Done.  You know my motto: with The Stylist LA, spend a fraction of the retail price for a fabulous dress then accessories with all the glam shoes and jewels from your closet!

Holiday Style: Home for the Holidays

The Holidays are officially here and that means events, dinners, and parties oh my! If you're like me, you want a new dress for each occasion, but unfortunately the budget is meant for gifts not expanding your social wardrobe. You could go with a basic LBD but let's be honest, that won't do for all your festive needs. The solution: a high-end dress borrowing service à la The Stylist LA!

With The Stylist LA, spend a fraction of the retail price for a fabulous dress then accessories with all the glam shoes and jewels from your closet! If you're in LA, you can also make an appointment to try the dresses or have them come to you. I went and shopped their showroom last week and put together four Holiday looks to share. You are going to love 'em!

{Home for the Holidays}
Whether you're meeting his parents for the first time or just brunching with your fam, switch out the sequined mini for something more understated but still flirty:

{Paper Crown Quartz Lace Dress - borrow for $60 (also available in black) // J. Crew Glitter Belt // Kate Spade Bow Ring - similar here // INPINK Bangles// Shiekh Heels - similar here}

The lace detail paired with the sparkly belt is undoubtedly Holiday chic. Take it one step further with a pair of forest green heels (not too high) and a red lip for the ultimate polished look. Let me tell you, this dress is so fun to wear - the swishy skirt makes you want to do spins in the middle of the street! The Paper Crown dress retails for almost $300 but can be borrowed for $60 - yes, please! You can actually borrow this dress + all three of my upcoming Holiday looks for under $300 total. Holiday dressing never looked so good!

Gift Guide: Glam Handpicked Finds

When the lovelies at GLAM reached out and asked if I wanted to be part of the their Style Squad I was honored and beyond excited. The first box of goodies arrived a few weeks ago, and when I opened the box I literally squealed "Christmas came early!" As I was playing with the Glam Style Squad contents it hit me that each of the stylish picks really could make perfect gifts. Why not kick off the first of Pursuit's holiday gift guides with these handpicked finds?!

girl on the go: Any glam girl that travels will appreciate one or all of the goodies above. What's to love about 'em? I've been a fan of  EOS lip balm for awhile and was so excited to add another one to the mix. Not only are they totally moisturizing but so cute too! Over the weekend I shot some Holiday Style looks (coming tomorrow) and had to bust out the 17 piece Pinch minimergency kit - sometimes a girl just needs double-sided tape! It's so perfect for any one that travels or even a bride-to-be because, let's be honest, you never know when you'll need new earring backs or nail polish remover. If you're like me, you can't live without your tweezers and after I got the  Tweezerman mini I never turned back. Sorry old tweezers but tweezerman is on point (literally). If your girl on the go is a plane hopping, event hosting maven she might get a little schvitzy (ahem, moi) so a little  Isaac Mizrahi FABULOUS roller ball  can go a long way. I'm loving the the fresh floral scent!

the entertainer: The roomie and I are obsessed with the FUJIFILM INSTAX Mini 7s Camera  and plan to stock up on film for our 5th Annual Holiday Party. We're going to have guests snap pics, pin them to a ribbon for everyone to see and then take them home as little goodies. If you know a glam entertainer this is THE perfect gift! There's even a cute fashion bowler bag for the camera.

jeans & tee girl: I'm currently living in Teeology's Kayla tee because it's just SO soft. This is definitely a must-have for any glam girl that appreciate a well made t-shirt. The jeans & tee girl enjoys simple jewelry like Stella & Dot's Wesley pendant, C. Wonder's horse bangle, or Rara Avis by Iris Apfel's foil bangle - styles that she can just throw on over anything and still manage to look chic.

the statement maker:  If she's a statement maker go with a bold clutch and jewels. Did you spot the C. Wonder  Fringe Clutch in last week's polka dot look? It's coming up in a look this week too! C. Wonder is doing wonders (hehe) especially with the pave studded tortoise cuff - I mean, it's genius! Also, there's not denying that Stella & Dot's teardrop earrings definitely make a holiday statement.

You've Got Mail

If you're braving Black Friday, I salute you! What I wore on Turkey Day...
{Lush Dress - last seen here // Zara Studded Vest // Sam Edelman Booties - similar here//  GAP Sunnies - similar here}

 LA weather has been so fantabulous that I couldn't help but wear a dress and booties for Thanksgiving. I'm big on throwing this vest over girly dresses to add a bit of edginess - it really is a great layering piece. Hope you had an amazing and relaxing Thanksgiving!

Polka Dot It Up

Still crushing on polka dots...
{Polka Dot Blazer - last seen here // Mavi Jeans (old) // VS Collection Heels // C. Wonder Clutch }

You can't really go wrong with a simple jeans and blazer look but I spiced it up
with a splash of color, print, and little mesh heel detail. I'm obsessed with these VS heels and I'll take any excuse to wear them.

For the Artsy Fashionista: Pop Art Prints

How are the Holidays here already?! As I put together my "what-to-buy-for-who" gift list, I always secretly put together my Christmas wishlist. Shhh! Today I spotted a few gift worthy canvas prints in HauteLook's Funky Pop Art event and just had to share:

I could totally see the first Louboutin one sitting in my future walk-in shoe closet! HauteLook's discounted event only lasts a few days so make sure to check it out.
