Highway Run

A chambray shirt and black pixie pants have pretty much been my uniform as of late. With the craziness of the holidays and life in general, it's such an easy breezy outfit that still manages to look somewhat put together. Over the weekend I added a floppy hat and switched out my usual high heeled booties for these...

{j. crew pixie pant // guess chambray shirt - similar here & here // michael kors bag - in brown // gap floppy hat - similar here // t+j designs gold chain bracelet // bp bow bracelet // vince camuto booties (on sale!)}

In my opinion one can never have too many chambray shirts but if you could only have two, go for a blousy version (like the above) and a more fitted style. Having both in your shirt arsenal will make getting dressed SO much better... promise! This Michael Kors 'Uptown Astor' is three years old and still looks amazing - believe me, it's been through the ringer. There's something to be said about quality leather!

  2. That's a nice outfit. Would have been perfect with shorts if the weather permitted.

    I like your jewelry. That one with the little bow is quite cute and a little unusual if I recall correctly. I have not ever seen one exactly like that. The other pieces are nice too but they are fairly popular. The bow-seems to be made of leather- is not something you see often at all. It goes well with the rest of the outfit and stops the arm jewelry from looking too regular.

    A little bit of something different is always good and helps us make our mark.
