Desk to Drinks: Printed Trousers

Lately, I find myself pursuing any bottoms that aren't jeans. Don't get me wrong - I'll always be a jeans and tee girl but right now silky shorts, skater skirts, and printed trousers are oh-so refreshing. Enter my latest F21 find:

{f21 printed pants (see similar below) // j. crew 'blythe' blouse (on sale!) // sole society arrow bracelets // sole society bag (on sale!) // sole society sunnies // zara heels}

You know how it goes when you're shopping with your best friend: "hey, let's stop in to Forever really quick!" and then 30 minutes later you're walking out the door with printed trousers you didn't even know you needed.  This is another one of those "stepping out of your comfort zone" moments but now I want to pursue every printed trouser ever made! Let's be real, they look super chic and feel like PJs... it's a win win situation. They're also a fab alternative to jeans, especially for anyone that works in a casual environment and wants to step it up a notch. Add a silky blouse and simple heels for the perfect desk to drinks ensemble.

Scooped up the Sole Society bag & bracelets on a whim the other evening (aka shopping after a few glasses of wine) and I have to say that I'm just gaga over them. The tote doubles as a crossbody that's going to make for the perfect carry-on come NYFW.

  1. Those pants are so gorgeous on you! Glad you stepped out of your comfort zone - they are absolutely amazing! Love the print and how you paired it with a silk blouse (which I have coming in the mail in black!)

    Looking great Ashley! Can't wait to see what else you'll style them with! :)

  7. This is a great look, and I love those pants. Also in love with those arrow bracelets. Do they come together or sold separate? They are amazing and have been looking for something similar for a while now.

  8. YES, YES, YES on those pants!!! You rock them. I wish I could, but my rear end is about 3x the size, and therefore, extremely awkward. I shall now just live vicariously through you... ;)

  9. I agree! It's nice to change things up from the classic denim. I love these pants and I can't believe you found them at forever 21! Gorgeous! xx Kat
