Beauty Faves

It never fails, I always run out of all my fave beauty products at the same time. I'm not talking auxiliary products that sit at the bottom of the makeup drawer or just come out on weekends, I'm talking can't live-a-day-without products... EEK! Anywho... since I love reading about new beauty products and seeing what other women are loving, I thought I'd share my current faves:
smashbox nars neutrogena marc by marc jacobs mascara

Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream:  You know the best feeling? When a brand decides to discontinue your go-to foundation... NOT! I used to die for Smashbox's tinted moisturizer and when they stopped selling it someone suggested their BB cream. LOVE! It's definitely thicker and heavier than a tinted moisturizer but it's packed with vitamins and fancy benefits that are so good to your face.

EOS: It's the cutest lip balm ever. My motto: you can never have too many lip balms!

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream: Fact: I'm getting older. Recently, I decided to  infuse some type of daily (not just nightly) anti-aging elements into my skin regimen. After doing a little research I decided on Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Day Cream and it's fab! It has retinol to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, SPF to help protect from sun exposure, and B5 and vitamin E that leaves skin feeling super soft; it's an all-in-one moisturizer.

NARS Laguna Bronzer & Orgasm Blush Duo: Hands down the best bronzer and blush shades on the planet. If you travel a lot, grab the duo as it's one less compact to carry.

RapidLash: Tested this out on a whim last year and my lashes exploded. I judged its effectiveness by where my lashes hit in the eyelash curler - after a few months they were longer then the eyelash curler (woo hoo!). The only bummer is that when you don't use it, you lose it! Placing my next order ASAP because I'm ready for long lashes again.

Rimmel ScandalEyes: I received this as part of a beauty review last year and fell in love. If you're looking for serious curl and oomph that won't leave your lashes clumpy then this is the winner. I typically layer it on over a lengthening mascara.

Mally Poreless Face Defender: There are no words for this finishing "powder". It's not a powder but some sort of magical potion that makes your face look flawless. It also keep oil at bay for almost the entire day.

Keihls Midnight Recovery Eye: I'm a fan of both the midnight recovery eye and face serum. Every time I use them I wake up looking very refreshed! Don't be scared of the price tag, they last FOREVER.

{pursuing beauty must-haves}

On another note, I'm currently pursuing a new blow dryer and open to any suggestions. I'm willing to splurge a little as I'm convinced my drugstore dryer is what's causing my hair to break! Please share below in the comments or tweet me: @pursuitofshoes

  1. Can't live without a few of these myself. NARS orgasm blush, EOS lip balm, and Smashbox BB Cream, are essentials! Happy Monday!

  2. Ohh I love EOS!! It makes my lips feel so wonderful. I may have to try the rapidlash - it isn't as expensive as the others out there. And my eyelashes need some length. I feel like I should try some start of skin anti aging regime (preventative) now that I am getting older but I have yet to decide on something. Great picks!
