Rockstuds & Stripes

Over the weekend my best friend joked that I sit on the Chambray Board of Directors. Let's call a spade a spade: I love me some chambray! Recently, I've grown fond of the chambray "jacket" as an added layer for LA winter:

Oh, and I may have treated myself to a year end shoe purchase - eek! As we start to transition into spring (some sooner than others) never underestimate the power of chambray. Last year it was all about wearing denim button-downs as shirts, but this season think of them as layering pieces. Like jeans, chambray shirts are a "neutral" that can be paired with almost anything. Love the idea of adding one to a black & white ensemble for a more heritage feel. You know what else goes with anything and everything? Nude flats like this Valentino pair! Be prepared to see them a lot this year.

Happy Monday!

  3. They're stunners! Makes me wonder if I would go the pumps or flats route when I hopefully eventually make a purchase! Someday.
