#TargetStyle: Minimalism Goes Sporty

Guys, I'm so excited to share that I've partnered with Target for a year long campaign! Every month I'll be shopping Tarjay to share the best trends and fashionable pieces. Now when you go to the store for toilet paper and walk out with a fab jacket and shoes, you can blame it on me! #winning

One of my fave trends right now is minimalism (obvi); it's all about pared down sophistication with a mix of black, white and bold color blocking! I found this fab jacket at Target which gives the minimalism trend a bit of a sporty twist:
target style fashion jacket
target style fashion jacket
target style fashion jacket
target jacket spring
essie nail polish target
target minimalism style
{mossimo jacket // essie 'butter please' polish // elizabeth & james ring // madewell bow ring // sole society bag & sunnies // zara flats - similar by sam & libby}

Let's be real, I could wear black and white every day but I'm really loving the idea of infusing a primary color for spring! I wore this for an afternoon of engagement ring shopping (not for me!!) and the salesman at Tiffany's was rather impressed with how my blue mani matched my jacket.

When I was shopping for this look I spotted a pair of great Sam & Libby d'orsay flats that are totally essential for spring - remember yesterday's post? Sadly, they weren't available in my size. Maybe it's the shoe gods way of telling me I already have a pair or five. Either way, they're definitely worth pursuing. Psst... don't forget to find your style @targetstyle.

  1. Minimal but super cute! Black & white has always been my go to. I am still so unsure about the d'orsay flat trend... I tried a few pairs on and it makes me feel like I've got clown feet (didn't help that the pair I tried was red). Do you have that problem?

  4. Thank you! I bought this jacket and have been having trouble deciding how to style it. I'll just keep it simple and monochrome. :)
