#TargetStyle: Mix & Match Bikini

Ahh, it's starting to feel like summer! Over the weekend I had some fun in the sun with my fam and finally broke out my new Target bikini. When the summer months are about to hit, it's always so dangerous to walk into Target because the bikinis just scream my name. Confession: I'm a bikini-aholic. If you've frequented Pursuit since last year this comes as no surprise.

I always tend to reach for mix & match bikinis because they're like 2 for 1. There's nothing better than a casual panama hat + chambray look and a great mix & match bikini on a warm summer day:
{target bikini top & bottom // target panama hat // zara shorts // madewell chambray shirt // yosi samra sandals}

The family pup happened to jump into the pics! Get more bang for your bikini buck by mixing and matching a solid with a print that way you can pair the print with other solids you have in your arsenal; it's like a new bikini every time. I love the gold piping details on this top that gives it some pizazz. I'm such a big proponent on finding the right suit for your body. Are you a triangle top or a bandeau girl? Do you like side-tie bottoms or just a little more coverage? You'll feel the most comfortable in a style that fits and flatters your body - don't be afraid to experiment. (Also a great thing about mix & match bikinis.) I know that I'm a triangle girl and no matter how much I want to wear bandeau tops or any type of strapless number, they squish my boobs and make me look like a 10 year old boy. #notcute  Btw, Instagram was abuzz over these shorts - if you happen to pursue them they do run a bit small. Don't forget to find your style @targetstyle and #yay for summer almost being here!

  2. I tried a pair of bottoms with ruching up the back last year -- not something I ever thought I'd wear but goodness does it do nice things to my booty! I'm also a fan of more bra-like tops -- that distribution of weight over my shoulders is better than a sore neck at the end of the day. And watching The Bachelor(yes, embarrassing, I know) last season got me interested in sexy one pieces -- it's nice to switch things up!

  4. I absolutely adore your blog and is one of the 2 blogs I check EVERY morning with my cup of coffee... My only wish is that you have more non-sponsored content. I completely understand that this is part of you making a living, but it would be really nice to see more non-sponsored posts just because I love reading your blog so much!
