Abbot Kinney is My Jam

I used to get annoyed with my "westside" friends when they couldn't make the effort to come east of the 405, that is, until I moved to the westside. Now I totally get it (sorry Weho friends). When you have Santa Monica's Main St., Venice's Abbot Kinney, and Marina Del Rey's super secret Sugarfish.... there's seriously no reason to leave. Anywho, lately many of my days are spent on Abbot Kinney because of the cutesy coffee shops and delicious food; let's be real, everything is super "instagrammable" around AK, so that's another plus. Have any of you spent time on Abbot Kinney? In a few weeks I'll do a round up of my fave spots in case you're headed my way!

I shot this look last week when I was - surpise, surprise - on Abbot Kinney:

You know what else is my jam? These Anine Bing boots. Not exaggerating when I say they're the comfiest booties I've ever worn. On top of that they're just totally rocker-chic which isn't usually my style but apparently something came over me and I bought them. It was so fun to wear them during my recent Texas trip because I felt like I had fancy cowboy boots on.

Back to regular posting next week, sorry for the radio silence lately. Psst... you can always see what trouble I'm getting into on the 'gram. Happy weekend, friends!

{pursuing my current faves}
